Jigsaws: Love them or Hate Them Luckily for jigsaws they don’t seem to be as divisive as Marmite but our New Marmite Jigsaws have continued our traditional pastime during lockdown 3.0. We have recently expanded our selection of designs as we find many enjoy the occasional dabble in finding that elusive piece and relishing in those tiny bites of satisfaction when you locate it’s correct home. There are many ways to tackle jigsaws; Do you systematically work through the pieces to dig out all the edge pieces and corners building excitement as your new template takes shape – the ordered and organised start easing you into the calm that unfolds. Perhaps you prefer the creative tackle of looking for colours and shapes, designs and pictures – jumping straight in with your creative planning. In this house we’ve enjoyed the excuse of experiencing the majority of our designs and can confirm that we’re definitely an outside working in approach, but we’ve very much enjoyed them all. Whichever way you choose during these last few weeks many of us have seen the benefits of jigsaws. The concentration involved in working out which way to go and being absorbed in an activity away from looking at a screen and everyday anxieties has done us all good.
